MALTA · REWS · 2026

Solar PV & battery storage

For eligible residential applicants, the 2026 Renewable Energy Sources Scheme includes support for PV with a hybrid inverter and for battery storage.

65% PV · 75% battery

Hybrid PV: up to €3,000 and €645/kWp. Battery storage: up to €6,000 and €600/kWh. Scheme limits and eligible-cost rules apply.

Business energy efficiency

Malta Enterprise’s Smart & Sustainable Investment Grant supports qualifying investments that improve resource use and sustainable business processes, including energy efficiency.

We assess your business and the proposed equipment against the current guidelines before treating any project cost as eligible.

EU & national funding routes

Renewable energy, storage and efficiency projects may have access to national, regional or EU funding. The right route depends on the country, applicant, project and open call.

We help identify relevant programmes and prepare the technical and economic basis for the application.
